Cutting Edge Technology Company is looking for a Principle Operations Engineer to primarily support the operation of complex telephony based speech recognition services. As a member of the operations team, responsibilities will include: on going development, maintenance and operation of a carrier –grade IT infrastructure supporting the company`s hosting services business, management of LAN and WAN that support the SRC telephony services platform, management of back-end server systems and support and integration of specific development platforms. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working in a new technology environment and possess commercial*current market knowledge and will be comfortable working in a multi disciplinary team; a good communicator and a pro active team player who can work under own initiative and be able to build professional relationships with internal and external groups. Skills and knowledge – essential: 5+ years experience in an operations*IT support role within a large corporate or Services Company, in-depth experience of UNIX (preferably Linux and Solaris) and Windows NT 0r 2000 systems administration & server architectures, Sybase or Oracle Database Administration and web hosting.
Knowledge of VoiceXML, Perl (and other shell scripting languages), Telephony knowledge including ISDN services and remote access services are highly desirable, please call or send CV`s to Stephanie Wheeler.
